Bungee Jumping

    It's not the destination but the journey that counts. Today was a spectacular day in Taiwan. Having to travel from Hsinchu (where I live) to the bungee jump place (which is way up in the mountains) would've have taken about two hours. There were 5 of us (all girls) who took the car, and the rest of the gang took scooters. Because the scooters weren't allowed on the highway, us girls teased them about having to make us wait since they will be taking the long way. Once we were all set to leave, the journey started.

   Laughing in the car and singing was such a wonderful beginning. What made it even best was our last minute decision to give into our desire of go-kart racing! We saw it from a distant and within 30 seconds from having seen it to almost passing it, we stopped the car. Time to go racing! It was really a blast! It was about $7 US dollars from 10 min. I thought it was a pretty good deal. To me it still seems cheap. I don't really know how much go-karting is in America... hmmm.... Well this was just the start of it!

   Afterwards, the journey still went on high in the mountains. Out of nowhere an old wise man looking money popped out! Guess what we fed it.... Chinese cheesy Cheetos! He seemed to have liked it a lot too! He kept on coming back for more anyways!Not only did

we meet a monkey... but we had ended up getting lost in the mountain. How fun was that? It was exciting truth be told. The view was beautiful, and we were able to bond together even more! We had been using a GPS but seemed to have a sort of temper. It kept telling us to take a route where there was none. If we had followed its directions, we would've smashed against a wall. But, guess who came to the rescue??? GOOGLE MAPS!!! It was great, but as you all know the car is filled with women. Want to know what I had heard about women with directions? "If a woman says to go one way, go the exact opposite." Well, I can completely tell you that this man who said it was correct. Even though we had Google map with us, we didn't really have a clear layout of the road so when turns came up we had to guess which ones to take... every road we kept choosing... that's right! It kept turning to be the wrong turn. This was our journey! We haven't even reached our destination yet, and we are all having such an adventure. I'm being serious here too. I really did have an amazing time with these great girls in the car. We did end up making it right on time for the bungee jumping, but... (remember the boys who ended up taking the scooters - the ones we teased saying that we will end up waiting for???)  they had actually ended waiting for us. That was a funny turn of event. Sorry guys! XD

  Well, finally the bungee jumping! I feel as if I wrote too much... and I probably did. Yikes! So instead of just writing some more which would take forever... here are two videos of the bungee jumping! Enjoy everyone! Life in Taiwan is such a blast! P.S. Sorry for any bad languages in it!
